Living on and around Cranfield campus
Cranfield is well served with both on- and off-campus accommodation to suit most people’s needs and preferences.
Our on-campus accommodation ranges from halls of residence to shared houses suitable for individuals, couples and families, most of which are just a few minutes’ walk from lecture rooms and other campus facilities.
If you would prefer to live off-campus in the surrounding areas, you will find many different property types such as studios and shared houses in nearby Cranfield village, Milton Keynes or Bedford so there are plenty of options to choose from. There is more information on these places in the following pages.
Things to consider are the lifestyle you want to follow, the local transport options or whether you have a car and want to drive, and whether you prefer to stay alone or in a group. Your study at Cranfield is intense, so having the right accommodation will play a big part in how your time is spent.
It is worth making the decision about where you prefer to stay as early as possible so that you secure what suits you. You will be eligible to apply for on-campus accommodation once you have been offered a place on your course.
