Application process for taught courses
Click on the ‘How to apply’ button on your chosen course page and check the details before you start an online application. Read more in the Application guide section on our website. Students attending a course at Shrivenham will also need to complete the security clearance application – see the Important information before you apply page of this prospectus or check our website.

Application process for postgraduate research programmes
Intake dates for research students are generally in January, June and September.
If you would like to study one of our research degrees, select your area of interest and apply online. Read more about the various entry routes for research on the Research page of this prospectus.

Entry requirements
We have the same minimum entry requirements for most of our taught and research programmes. Some courses may have additional entry requirements, so please check the specific course you are interested in before submitting your application. For information on international equivalent qualification that we accept see the international entry requirements on our website. If you do not meet our minimum entry requirements, a Kaplan International Pathway may be helpful to prepare you to study at Cranfield.
English Language requirements
To study at Cranfield, you will need to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively in English in an academic environment. Some courses require you to demonstrate a higher level of English language skills, please check each course page on the website for details.
